When Amsterdam newspaper, Het Parool, financed a buy out and became independent from its large publishing conglomerate, a campaign announced its freedom with portraits of famous Amsterdammers. In each picture we see a well-known Amsterdam personality jumping in the air using the motto of Het Parool, a newspaper that was started after World War II, ‘I am free
and fearless’ and therefore announcing a new chapter in the Amsterdam newspaper.
