The Museum of London is the Museum of Londoners.
After announcing their move to Smithfields (happening in 2026) and supporting London’s first ever Borough of Culture, Waltham Forest, KesselsKramer London was tasked with celebrating the next Borough of Culture, Brent.
To mark this occasion, a campaign was created with local photographer, Nwaka Okparaeke, featuring the young girls from Brent whose love of football propelled them forward.
Unfortunately, COVID scuppered the campaign meaning their uplifting stories lay dormant.
Roll on 2022, where, for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022, the campaign has gained extra resonance.
As a precursor to the competition, the young footballers’ stories and ‘magical essence’ have a place in the spotlight once again.
