Bottled water is responsible for a lot of plastic waste, pollution and emissions. But the solution to these single-use water bottles is incredibly simple: a refillable water bottle. The solution was already there before the problem. So how do we remind people of a solution that is already so obvious and simple?
By communicating this solution to bottled water as if it were some huge never-seen-before innovation. Similar to how big tech-companies present their new products, we introduce a simple water bottle as the big solution. By doing this with something as familiar as a water bottle, we stress its absurd simplicity.
With the use of high-end renders, bombastic language and techy product specifications, we build up towards the reveal of a groundbreaking solution. With the reveal of the water bottle, we move out of the slick rendered environment, showing someone refilling the water bottle in an ordinary kitchen. Finally, we end with the new pay-off that sums it all up: just refill.
