Arte: RE – short for ‘regards’ – is a documentary series that sheds light on Europe’s untold stories. With a new season starting, Arte was looking for a new way to introduce and promote Arte RE: to a wider audience.
Arte: RE showcases the most interesting stories Europe has to tell – both big and small stories. What makes them interesting, is the fact that most of them can be interpreted in different ways. Therefore, the campaign shows images that tie into various contemporary developments and showcases how these situations can be seen as multiple things at the same time, depending on the viewer’s perspective.
We depicted situations in which these multiple perspectives are evident and highlighted the seeming contradictions that occur in people’s lives. We only share two different perspectives, but leave the door open to how every situation can have thousands of different interpretations.
