Smack The Lion

The Bavaria Leeuwenhosen featured as the main component in a fictional new family board game, one that does away with its players in increasingly morbid ways. The film was designed to create further attention and adoration from the Dutch football supporters during the World Cup.

The Bavaria Leeuwenhosen (translation: lion pants, a play on the German, Lederhosen) hit it big with Dutch football fans during the 2006 FIFAWorld Cup in Germany, so much so that the organizers banned the garment. Online attention and confusion in equal measure was further stirred with the arrival of a strange Chinese game featuring the bizarre orange outfit.
