I'M NOT HERE RIGHT NOW

Plan a moment to analyze and improve your work-care division.

While the employment rate of women in the Netherlands has risen, they remain the predominant caregivers, taking the most care of children and elderly or disabled family members. Double the time men spend. With an ageing population, there are even more care tasks to juggle.

If the welfare of others continues to fall on the shoulders of working women, it will be more harmful to them, their employers and society in general.

This campaign urges women to take time-out of a single day to evaluate discrepancies in their own work-care division.

“I’m not here right now” appeals to society at large and calls on both genders and employers to give this issue the social and political attention it deserves.

Over 40,000 women simultaneously scheduled their time-out on May 1st of 2015. An issue that used to be an abstract statistic became human and central enough to be covered by the media.
