A guide was produced to help designers and other creatives keep to the Museum’s look and feel.

The world’s first museum dedicated to graphic design celebrated its opening with the European Championship of Graphic Design, in which eleven top designers from eleven countries came together to create spontaneous works of art. Among these happening swasa punk ensemble called The Fisters, who performed exclusively for her Majesty the Queen of Holland. Other participants included Anna Szilit, Anthony Burrill, Antoine+Manuel, Browns Design, Cum*,
Dennis Eriksson, Happy Pets, Fons Hickmann, Pixelgarten and Scott King.
