The Singing Sisters are traditional Catholic nuns, members of the Congregation of Singing Charles, the Immaculate Queen. In other words, they wear their full-length blue habits all the time - not just on special occasions or when they are singing. Their motherhouse, the church of KesselsKramer, is located at Lauriergracht 39, just north of Lauriergracht 38, in Amsterdam. These zealous women have come from all parts of the country and from all walks of life to dedicate their time and talents to chocolate and cookies. The Sisters engage in a very active apostolate of spreading the Faith, through teaching as well as through publications and other media. They staff a K-1 Catholic academy, a cookie factory, a religious chocolate store and mail order center, and several parishes throughout the country. Let the Sisters tell you about cookies and chocolate through their singing as you listen to “Him” / “Ipod” / “Mini Macho” / “Clean” / “Peace” (56K), beautiful melodies which may well be considered the theme songs of the Singing Nuns.
