Dreams can be seen as our unconscious creative outlet. Where reality fades and imagination takes over. Mozart composed symphonies through his dreams. Alexander Graham Bell dreamed of an invention to communicate over long distances.
Somewhere someone is dreaming of being chased by a pineapple with killer instincts. What do you dream of?
Italian Fashion and jeans brand Diesel approached KesselsKramer’s Dream Foundation (KKDF) to dip into the mixed-up, anything-is-possible world of dreams and daydreams.
KKDF was assigned by Diesel to experiment with its models who were wearing their latest, fantasy-based collection.
So KKDF brought together 30 different models, put them all in strange and urban situations and let them get lost in their own world.
KKDF were concerned with how the surrounding landscape affected the individuals’ dreams.
What we noted was that, yes indeed, their surroundings did add to where they escaped to in their dreams.
KKDF interviewed these models immediately after their daydreams and noted their exact dream experiences.
But then, we had to somehow collate this information in a way that Diesel could show off to the rest of the world.
So KKDF decided to get in touch with experienced dream makers from around the world who could visualise these dreams.
The results were remarkable and some of them can be viewed by clicking the above link (or visit www.dieseldreams.com).
Thank you to all dream makers involved who come from all over the globe including Hong Kong, Canada, Brazil, USA, Iceland, Latvia, Spain, Japan and Australia.
KKDF and Diesel can conclude that the best adventures are inside your head. You can be anything you want in your fantasies –
no matter who you are and where you are. So supplement your reality and create your own world.
Sweet dreams.
